St John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cowra Marriage Transcriptions 1878 – 1970

One of a set of 3 books taken from the entries in the original registers which were still at the church and had not been previously transcribed. Marriages which took place in outlying areas of the parish were also recorded in the Cowra church register.

Each book also includes anecdotes and stories on the incumbents, information about outlying churches and a brief history of the original and current church.

The Marriages book covers the years 1878 to 1970 and contains 1,785 entries arranged alphabetically for both groom and bride plus 20 images.
